getting back into playing lap steel after a long absence and came across this thread. I know the links in the original post are dead but wondering if anyone downloaded this book and could reshare.

Hi Rex, I know this is an old post and this may be a long shot but I would love to get your e9th lap steel book. It would be so helpful. I’ll pay for it. Many thanks. Brian

Re: New Book for E9 Lap Steel (Free!)
Hi,
I purchased from Bandcamp some time ago a few tablatures from Flavio Pasquetto, basicly C6, but there were two tracks in D9 I tried out today: Back home in Indiana and Midnight in old Amarilo. (You can find it on YouTube)
The tablature is in D9 for 8-string (l2h) F#-A-C-E-F#-A-C-E. As I have a 8-string lap steel with C6 (high G) I re-tuned it easily to E9: G#-B-D-F#-G#-B-D-F#, lowering the strings one or half a step. Of course, I have to play two fretes below as proposed in the tablature, but I am going to try it out. Thats the reason why I am quite interested in the book for E9 Lap Steel.
One thing is bothering me in this D9 tuning, it has 7th and 9th, but no root.
Frank

Re: New Book for E9 Lap Steel (Free!)
I've looked for it in the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine, but it hasn't been archived. Perhaps the four or so forumites who did download it could upload it to the Internet Archive? If the athor meant for it to be publicly available for anyone to see and use, then that's the place it should go. (As with all the old Hawaiian Guitar/Steel Guitar methods/tutors in the public domain. No need to be shy!!!)
