I'm struggling with this run too.
I currently just play the basic A major scale on the 5th fret, starting on the 8 string up to the second D (3 string B pedal), then slide 3B to 7th (E), 9th (F#), 11th fret (G#), before resolving to the top A on 13th fret (3 string no pedal) ... with no confidence whatsoever that this is what is done on the recording.
I did try to figure it out from the video (ignoring that he's obviously not actually playing what we're hearing). He seems to start the run on 6th fret, which makes no sense to me. But my slides and pedals do mirror his somewhat.
I believe John McFee is the player.
