At the end of the 90's, Chuck Campbell talked about Derek Trucks starting to use Sacred Steel stylings with his playing. I saw this clip of him sitting in with The Black Pumas recently.
Derek's playing is a great example of how musicians learn other pleople's styles and techniques and meld them te into their own.
