playing live cam movies

just watched the live cam feed from across the pond at Steel Days. Because it only plays for a few seconds at a time then has to buffer again, I was wondering if there is a way to save the file to my hard drive or to a R/WCD to allow it to be played back in a continous segment. I thought of recording the audio on tape and then cutting out the dead spots, but the video portion would would not be available.
